Iceland is easily one of the most majestic and incredible places that I've ever seen. The capital of Reykjavik and its surrounding areas boasts around 2/3 of the population of the entire country. With such a small population over such a vast area, the countryside offers so many opportunities for exploring. Fjords, waterfalls, mountains, volcanos, lava fields, hot springs, and geysers decorate the landscape and the locals are some of the kindest that I've ever experienced (and not to mention beautiful and blonde).

Iceland can be pricey due to high import prices and small industry, but there are definitely ways to save and make sure that your journey to Iceland is an inexpensive one.
